Adobe Substance 3D Painter 10.0.1.3757

Are you a Windows PC user and are you finding Adobe Substance 3D Painter for your Windows PC? I think you’re in the right place!

Substance 3D Painter is one of the best cross-platform programs for digital painting and texturing 3D models that can be used in movies, games, design, and even architectural projects.

The highlight of the software is the ability to customize every 3D object you create. You can control the color and brightness, set the correct shadows and surface relief, blend elements, and save your work as a high-quality image.

Overview of Adobe Substance 3D Painter

The latest version of Adobe Substance 3D Painter comes with some pretty interesting new tools. Earlier in the year, a revamped UI and workflow was released that focused more on the interaction between Substance tools and its newer Adobe siblings. But the latest version comes with 3D Warp Projection, which is really cool.

Even for those who say adjusting UV is fun, it’s not fun. It takes a lot of time and money from artists. Part of this is because you’re constantly going back and forth between the 3D model and its 2D unexploded version. Substance 3D Painter’s Warp Projection combines these to create an easy workflow for working with textures on model surfaces.

Features of Adobe Animate

Automatic UV Decompression

Automatic UV extraction allows the automatic creation of UV islands when importing a 3D model. It can be used to draw on 3D models without UV rays. When creating a new project or re-importing meshes into an existing project, check the Auto-unzip setting. If disabled, the process will be skipped and the mesh UV will remain.

Effect

Effects are a set of different actions that can be applied to layer content or masks in the Layer Stack of Substance 3D Painter. They allow an infinite number of variations, from simple color changes to complex mask creations. Multiple Effects come with Substance 3D Painter by default, but you can also create your own in Substance 3D Designer.

Effects can be added to the stack by right-clicking on any layer or mask, or by clicking the special button at the top of the layer stack window. Most effects have the same blending modes and opacity as normal layers, and they can be reordered to create full-scale effects, for example to create complex masks.

Physical Size

Physical size is a property within the material that determines the actual size. It can be used to fine-tune the size and appearance of materials on 3D surfaces. The artist uses the centimeter as the default internal unit. To apply physical size, use a material with this property with a value other than 0,0,0 and enable physical size mode on the fill layer (or effect) under UV Transform > Scale.

As of Painter version 8.3, physical sizes are available for all projection types. Most mesh file formats specify the units used when creating the mesh, which will automatically be converted to centimeters when importing. Some formats, such as .obj, do not have unit information, so when creating a project using an .obj mesh, it will be measured in centimeters by default without any conversion.

Color Management

Color management is the manipulation and manipulation of colors. From importing assets to displaying colors on screen to final export of textures. Color matching is important to ensure consistent appearance across applications.

Color management in the application is handled by integrating OpenColorIO (OCIO for short) version 2. OCIO is a standard for color conversion and display of film and animation. To enable color management, create a new project or open an existing project and enable custom settings.

Plugins

Substance 3D Painter has a dedicated scripting API that allows you to create custom plugins to add custom functionality and behavior. The plugin is written in Javascript and can be combined with the QML language to create a custom interface within the application. For more details on what’s available in the API, see the script documentation (available from the app’s help menu).
