Are you a Windows PC user and are you finding Adobe Substance 3D Sampler for your Windows PC? I think you’re in the right place!
Adobe Sensei features allow you to import reference images, convert them into high-quality 3D materials, and then export them. You can customize your photos and make stickers. You can combine multiple materials and parametric filters to create more advanced surfaces. You can access thousands of materials about assets from the Matter 3D Assets or Matter 3D Community. There are many options. Drag and drop your photos and add several pre-built filters. Voila! One-click filters, generators, and effects libraries allow users to experiment and get results in minutes quickly. Substance 3D Painter and Stager can accept your assets. You can use your content anywhere. You can send your assets directly to Painter or Stager, or use them in your favorite 3D application.
Overview of Adobe Substance 3D Sampler
Adobe recently introduced Substance 3D Sampler 4.4, the latest version of its popular software for creating materials and capturing 3D images. This update introduces three new features that leverage the AI toolset created by Adobe’s Firefly.
Newly integrated Text-to-Structure, Text-to-Model, and Image-to-Structure capabilities allow users to easily create materials, patterns, and tile textures derived from text descriptions and reference images.
It’s important to note that these features are currently in beta and are only available to subscribers of Adobe’s services.
Adobe Substance 3D Sampler is a next-generation application that makes it easy to create collections of materials. You can mix and match existing content or create new ones from high-resolution photos and scans. Adobe Substance 3D Sampler is at the heart of your 3D workflow: easily transform real images into photorealistic surfaces or HDR environments for 3D using Adobe Sensei features. Enhance your work with filters and effects. This is great if you need a real reference sample or just want to experiment. With the help of Adobe Substance 3D Sampler, you can rethink and refine your finished material.
Features of Adobe Substance 3D Sampler
Text-to-Texture Algorithm
Adobe first introduced Substance 3D Sampler 4.4 in beta in March. At the time, the software introduced a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence capability known as Text-to-texture. This feature generates tileable textures based on simple text instructions and then creates four different textures for the user to choose from. After the creation process, the texture can be converted into a fully physics-based rendering (PBR) material using the 3D sampler’s fixed image-to-material mechanism.
Notably, Sampler automatically attaches Adobe’s Content Credentials to assets acquired through Firefly, indicating in metadata that these assets are products of AI technology.
Image-Texture to Create a Reference Image
In addition to the aforementioned features, the final version introduces two additional AI functions: Image-Texture and Text-to-Style. Image-texture allows you to create textures using reference images rather than textual prompts, giving the user more control over the generated results. Even if the reference image itself does not have tile properties or has a non-square aspect ratio, the output produced has a square, tile texture.
Similarly, Text-to-pattern works in a similar way to Text-to-texture, creating a square tile pattern based on a text description. The resulting pattern can be used as input to an existing Pattern filter or Fabric Weave filter.
AI Features and Restrictions on Access for Steam Users
Three of the latest AI features are still officially in beta, even in the final version. These features require an Adobe account, thus restricting access to those with Substance 3D subscriptions who do not own the previous perpetual license obtained through Steam.
At the beginning of the year, Adobe canceled the Steam version. However, users have previously been assured that they will continue to receive additional updates until the closing month of 2024.
Final Words
Substance 3D Sampler, formerly known as Substance Alchemist, is an intuitive tool used to create 3D materials and lighting using real images. The sampler is at the heart of your 3D workflow. Easily convert real images into photorealistic surfaces or HDR environments.
