Are you a Windows PC user and are you finding CCleaner Professional Plus for your Windows PC? I think you’re in the right place!
CCleaner is one of the oldest system cleaners. Operating since 2004, the veteran now installs more than 5 million desktops per week. CCleaner is famous for its Performance Optimizer, which removes unnecessary files from your computer. Among other things, users flock to it because of its comprehensive features, ease of use, and free version that works for free. Additionally, its competitively priced Professional Edition appeals to those looking for good value.
Overview of CCleaner Professional Plus
CCleaner Professional Plus is a comprehensive system optimization and cleaning tool, a comprehensive solution for improving the performance and health of Windows computers. This premium version of Piriform’s CCleaner combines standard CCleaner features with additional tools to create a powerful suite for users looking for advanced system maintenance capabilities. The main task of CCleaner Professional Plus is to clean and optimize the Windows registry by removing redundant and invalid entries, creating a more efficient and responsive system.
One of the standout features is the Junk File Cleaner, which scans and removes unnecessary files that have accumulated over time, such as temporary files, system cache, and leftover program files. This not only frees up valuable disk space but also contributes to faster system startup. In addition, CCleaner Professional Plus includes a real-time monitoring function that allows users to actively manage system resources and prevent the accumulation of unnecessary files.
Features of CCleaner Professional Plus
Health Check
A health check is where you can quickly check your computer system. The results are divided into four tabs, but the free version only has two tabs. The rest can be unlocked only after purchasing the Pro license. The two free windows are Privacy and Space, and the locked ones are Speed and Security. The Privacy tab contains data that can reveal your online habits, such as cookies, temporary internet files, and history. The Space tab contains all unnecessary files such as files in the recycle bin, temporary program files, and temporary system files. Deleting these junk files will free up more space on your hard drive.
Custom Clean
If you want more control over which files CCleaner scans and deletes, you should open Custom Clean. Whether you want to clear the thumbnail cache, empty the trash, remove bad shortcuts or delete the internet cache, the decision is in your hands. Select the items you want to remove, click the Run CCleaner button, and wait for the job to finish.
Uninstall the Software
Uninstalling all the software you no longer need can sometimes free up a lot more disk space than you think. The list of installed software is in alphabetical order, so it should be easy to find the one you’re looking for. If you fail or are afraid of the length of the list, there is a search field to quickly find the name of the program.
Start List
Sometimes, after installing software, new items appear in the Windows startup list without your permission. This is tricky because the number of items in the load list can have a huge impact on load speed. CCleaner lets you see what programs are running right after you log into Windows and disable or even remove unnecessary programs from the startup list.
Registry Cleaner
Another common cause of slow PC performance is extra or invalid entries in the Windows Registry. CCleaner can remove unnecessary entries from your Windows registry. This function works immediately: click the button to run the Windows registry scanner. After the scan is complete, it will show you the number of problems found. Our testing revealed 212 issues. You can fix all of these issues at once or tackle them one at a time.
Performance Optimizer
CCleaner’s performance optimization feature gives end users more control over how to turn on and speed up PC performance. It’s an attractive proposition: Who doesn’t like more control over what they buy while earning more? The Performance Configuration Wizard highlights how to do this. The explanation is somewhat illogical, but the service is disabled and re-enabled as needed. This is a fairly old way of managing operating system resources. Windows 10 and Windows 11 do this natively, so I’m not sure what’s the benefit of managing it externally.
When I run it on my test virtual machine, CCleaner identifies OneDrive as the only program that slows down my computer. Even on slow hard drives (or HDDs), performance is not significantly affected after extensive use of OneDirve. OneDrive only works when needed. Conversely, having a copy of OneDrive is essential for accessing cloud files, so I don’t want to disable it. It might be different on a more heavily used computer, but I’m sure it wasn’t very effective on my test bench.
Tools
CCleaner bundles most of its advanced features into Tools. It includes an updater, startup process monitor, uninstall manager, system restore, browser cleaner, duplicate detector, and other functions. This option provides a lot of information and combines several very useful Windows features. I like the functionality that Windows brings together instead of searching for different functions in multiple menus.
Final Words
CCleaner Professional Plus is a tool that helps clean unwanted data from your computer for better performance by removing unnecessary things like browsing history and cookies. It can also solve Windows registry problems and free up hard disk space. CCleaner software works with a variety of web browsers, including Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Google Chrome.
