Are you a Windows PC user and are you finding Wondershare Filmora Pro for your Windows PC? I think you’re in the right place!
Filmora is a video editor for all creators that can be used on both Windows and Mac computers. Moreover, there are several built-in music tracks and sound effects that are free to use. Apart from basic video editing features such as trimming, trimming, and splitting, Filmora also provides video stabilization, chromatic keying, color correction, and audio editing tools.
Overview of Wondershare Filmora Pro
Video editing made easy—ignite your story. A powerful and intuitive video editing experience. Filmora 10 has two new editing capabilities: Action Cam Tool (lens distortion correction, audio cleanup, new speed controls) and Instant Cutter (quickly trim or merge clips, instant export).
Filmora allows you to create projects in 4:3 or 16:9 format, so you can trim or resize videos to the size you need. This makes it possible to quickly convert widescreen material to SD format.
Features of Wondershare Filmora Pro
AI Editing
Filmora doesn’t yet create videos from scratch using generative AI, but it does have a number of new AI tools to make the editing process easier. Two that seem similar but quite different are AI text editing and AI co-pilot editing.
Editing Text Using Artificial Intelligence
The AI text editing tool opens a new window that displays the clips with blue tracks indicating the parts of the clip that contain speech. Dragging the blue text clips around splits and moves the portion of the video that contains the text. Adobe made a splash last year when it released a similar feature in Premiere Pro. The Filmora tool has a handy button that removes any silent parts of the video. It also allows you to search for spoken words and jump straight to the part of the video where the word is spoken so you can move, trim, or delete it. However, in my testing, it wasn’t perfect and some of the speech was cut off.
Transitions in Filmora
Filmora has over 100 transitions that are loaded according to your choice. The first time after installation, nothing appeared for me until I looked for them. Search tips make it easy to create fades, warps, scales, highlights, and other styles. For example, you can search for them by name in PowerDirector and Adobe Premiere Elements, and they always gave me the type of transition I was looking for (although crossfade/cross-dissolve is just called dissolve). The generous selection is divided into 12 categories on the left panel, including Vertical, Fade & Dissolve, Warp, Quick Blur, Slideshow, Zoom, Glitch, Highlights, ” Brush”, “Smoke”, “Light” and “Filmstock” – online version. Wondershare version. Content source. You can mark the ones you use frequently as favorites for easier access. Filmora uses fancy schematic diagrams and images to show what transitions do, while most other programs simply show sample animations from A to B.
Special Effects and Color Editing in Filmora
As mentioned earlier, creating PiP effects is easier than before, and you can move and resize PiP windows right in the video preview by clicking on the appropriate clip in the timeline and dragging the crosshairs in the middle of the edges and corners. Chroma key (aka green screen) worked very well and automatically in my test footage, even with curly hair, which can often be difficult to disguise.
Text and Titles in Filmora
Adding titles and text is a snap, and Filmora includes over 200 well-designed text and title templates, some of which have cool animations. Even carefully crafted title templates can be edited directly in the video preview window. If you want even more customization options, the Advanced Text Editing dialog box lets you change the animation, font, and color fill of your text.
The only thing it lacks is the ability for PowerDirector and Premiere Elements to use video fills for text characters, but you can use a photo, which is pretty cool. In addition to text, you can choose from a wide range of objects and shapes to overlay on your film. Many title styles require a subscription to additional effects.
Music and sound in Filmora
Wondershare has greatly expanded the program’s audio capabilities with a new AI Music Generator and AI noise reduction tools, as well as a feature to stretch music to fit your video. Filmora’s Music section includes hundreds of background tracks that you can enhance by adding your own music files or downloading others from a library available only on Filmstock. Please note that you may not use some of these tracks for commercial purposes.
The included music is divided into categories such as “Young and Vibrant” and “Tender and Sentimental.” There’s also a good selection of sound effects, including rustling noises, beeps, monsters, and even specific things like falling iron pieces and crows.
Filmora Exchange and Withdrawal
Filmora has most of the output options you might need, including AVI, FLV, HEVC, MKV, MOV, MP4, and WMV. There’s even a selection of animated GIFs. When outputting to one of the many supported file formats, you can select quality settings from Best, Best, and Good. There are also buttons for creating and uploading movies to Facebook, YouTube, and Vimeo, as well as burning DVDs. However, you don’t have menu screens and DVD chapters like some other video editors. Output options include 4K and the efficient H.265 codec.
Final Words
Wondershare Filmora is a video editing program. Its goal is to make content creation easier for everyone who uses it, be it a full-time creative or a YouTuber. It works well on its own, but can be further integrated into your workflow using third-party platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Drive.
